Where are the Pletas 1500 and 1700 of Baqueira?

Pleta de Jus, Pleta Baqueira, Pleta de Nheu, and Pleta Nin de Beret.

Just a few minutes by car from Baqueira Centro, we find several residential areas, remarkable for the convenience of their accommodations right at the slopes.

First, we find Pleta de Jus, and immediately after, Pleta Baqueira or (Pleta del Rey) at elevation 1500. Further up, at elevation 1700, are Pleta de Nheu and Nin de Beret. These two residential areas have a free shuttle service that takes you to the cable car at elevation 1700 in Tanau.

The residential area Pleta de Baqueira has 4 entrances, with barriers that open using a remote control or a security access code.

These accesses are along the road towards Beret, and the houses are located at various levels, offering spectacular views.

Within this Pleta, a minibus provides service for all residents, with no need for cards or tickets. This transport stops along the streets of the residential area at various points to take us directly to the Baqueira 1500 Chairlift. The interval can be between 15 to 30 minutes, every day during the ski season at the Baqueira Beret resort.

The apartments and houses for rent in this area are not only valuable for being at the foot of the slopes, they also have a special charm thanks to their typical architecture of the valley and a decoration in keeping with the rural atmosphere characteristic of the Pyrenees.

Most of the accommodations in Baqueira 1500 have beautiful views of the mountains of Valle de Arán. Many have green areas, swimming pool, spa or sports courts, to enjoy at any time of the year.

Attractions in Pleta de Nheu and Pleta Baqueira

Valle de Arán is known for more than just skiing in Baqueira. Its beautiful landscapes and picturesque villages make the area an ideal place for nature lovers.

In Baqueira Beret you can discover the gastronomy of the area (the famous ‘Olla Aranesa’, among others), go shopping in the centre of Vielha or go on excursions and adventure sports.

WINTER: During the winter, the Baqueira 1500 area has restaurants and bars. So you don’t need to go to other towns for dinner or a drink. There is also a free Gua-Gua service that takes you to the Esquiros chairlift at 1700m if you are staying in Pleta de Nheu, or to the Baqueira 1500 cable car if you are staying in Pleta Baqueira.

SUMMER: During the summer you can practice adventure sports, excursions, group games, visits to natural parks and reserves. You can also start your mountain bike route from the door of your house and go to the ski slopes where there are many routes to discover.

Throughout the valley there are endless hiking trails to discover spectacular forests and waterfalls of all sizes. You can also hire Rafting or Horse Riding activities in Vielha.
