The Barratge d\u2019Aiguam\u00f2g is a much less touristy place than other alternatives in the area, which gives it that feeling of peace and isolation, so important to replenish mental energy and disconnect from day to day. Inside the Aran Valley we find the Aiguam\u00f2g Valley, a beautiful place that begins near Salard\u00fa (a town that deserves a visit) and crosses part of the Aig\u00fcestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park<\/a>. This already tells us that the environment has to be spectacular. If you are in Vielha, you can drive to this region taking the C-28 road towards Salard\u00fa; then, you must take an asphalted mountain track, with several curves and that goes up through a wonderful landscape. Soon after you will arrive at this small reservoir, which seems perfectly natural. This trip will not take you more than 20 minutes. In winter the road may be closed due to snow, in which case the reservoir can only be accessed on foot (with the appropriate equipment). <\/p>\n\n
